As a former Senior Vice President of at Samsung Networks, she played a pivotal role in shaping the industry’s transformation to software-defined and intelligent network systems. Her leadership has consistently delivered industry-leading solutions including 4G Smart Networks and 5G Virtualized Radio Access Network (vRAN) systems.
She is serving on the advisory board at the Autonomy Institute, Austin, Texas. She is the recipient of Bell-Labs President’s Gold Award for her contribution to industry standards. With extensive experience in modem and system design, he has been instrumental in the productization of cutting-edge technologies. As a former lead architect at Agere Systems and Infineon Technologies, Inseop played a pivotal role in the creation of Sirius
digital satellite radio systems. As a co-founder of Navitas Solutions, he spearheaded the development of the industry’s first wireless battery monitoring system (wBMS) for electric vehicles and infrastructure.
He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and BS and MS degrees in Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University.

As the Head of the Automotive Intelligence and Vehicle IT Platform Division at Hyundai-Kia Motor Company (HKMC), he successfully led the strategy and development of connected car technologies, telematics, and infotainment systems. During his tenure at Samsung Electronics, he spearheaded technology and SoC development at Samsung's Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) and later at its System LSI division. He is recognized as a key inventor of HDMI at Silicon Image, helping establish it as the industry’s de facto standard for audio/video connectivity in consumer electronics.

Patric Erlandsson is a seasoned technology executive with over 25 years of experience spanning wireless technology, semiconductors, and strategic business development. Holding a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (M.Sc.E.E.), with a specialization in Microwave Technology from Chalmers University of Technology, Patric has dedicated his career to advancing innovation and growth in the wireless and semiconductor sectors.
Patric’s career began with a tenure at Ericsson, where he held senior roles in Product Management, Technical Sales, Production, Supply, and Strategic Sourcing. During this time, he developed deep expertise in wireless technology and established himself as a leader in managing complex operations and driving strategic initiatives for a global telecommunications giant.
Following his success at Ericsson, Patric spent eight years contributing to the growth of Sivers Semiconductors, a leader in wireless and photonics semiconductor. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing and later as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, he was a key member of the executive team, shaping the company’s strategic direction and enhancing its market presence. His leadership included managing global marketing strategies, strengthening brand recognition, and driving international sales growth.

Dr. David Munson is an esteemed academic leader, pioneering researcher, and visionary in the field of radar imaging and signal processing. With nearly four decades of experience in higher education and research, he currently serves as the President of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s academic and technological direction.
Dr. Munson is a recognized pioneer in tomographic Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging, with a profound impact on both defense and automotive technologies. His extensive career spans multiple prestigious institutions, including a decade-long tenure as the Robert J. Vlasic Dean of Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he served from 2006 to 2016. Prior to his role at Michigan, Dr. Munson was with the University of Illinois from 1979 to 2003, holding distinguished positions such as the Robert C. MacClinchie Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Research Professor in the Coordinated Science Laboratory, and faculty member in the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. In addition to his academic leadership, Dr. Munson has played a vital role in shaping the global research community. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a past president of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, founding editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and co-founder of the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing.
Dr. Munson's research interests are focused on radar imaging, computer tomography, and signal and image processing, areas in which he has made significant contributions. He is also a co-founder of InstaRecon Inc., a start-up that commercializes fast algorithms for image formation in computer tomography. Dr. Munson earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (with distinction) from the University of Delaware, followed by Master of Science (MS) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees in electrical engineering from Princeton University. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Princeton, laying the foundation for a distinguished career in academia and innovation.
Dr. Sung-Mo “Steve” Kang is a distinguished academic leader, technology advisor, and pioneering researcher with a remarkable career spanning academia, research, and leadership in global technological development. Currently serving as a Distinguished Chair Professor at the Jack Baskin School of Engineering at UC Santa Cruz, Dr. Kang is widely recognized for his leadership and significant contributions to engineering and technology, particularly in the fields of electrical and computer engineering.
Dr. Kang has held several prestigious positions in academia, including as the 15th President of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the 2nd Chancellor of the University of California, Merced. He also served as the Dean of Engineering at UC Santa Cruz and Department Head of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Throughout his leadership roles, Dr. Kang has been instrumental in
advancing research and educational initiatives, positioning institutions at the forefront of scientific and technological progress.
Dr. Kang’s distinguished career is marked by his recognition as a Fellow of IEEE, ACM, and AAAS, as well as his membership in both the National Academy of Engineering, Korea and the Korea Academy of Science and Technology. He has contributed to science and technology policy as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology in the Republic of Korea and served as Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council for the Future of Electronics. He has also been an influential member of the Global University Leadership Forum.
Dr. Kang is the author of 10 books and has published over 500 journal and conference papers throughout his career. His research interests are primarily in electrical and computer engineering, with a focus on innovative technologies and systems. His work has had a profound impact on both academia and industry, influencing the development of new technologies and shaping the future of global engineering education.
Dr. Kang earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley. Dr. Kang is a Founding Advisor at Aura.
